Barcelona, February 2, 2024
Barcelona, February 2, 2024 - The second face-to-face meeting of the BioNatural project, aimed at revolutionizing the study of natural bioactives chemistry, unfolded successfully at Ramon Llul University from January 31st to February 2nd. With key members of the consortium in attendance, the gathering provided a unique opportunity to advance the project's goals and strengthen collaborations among partner institutions.
BioNatural, an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Chemistry of Natural Bioactives, focuses on harnessing the potential of natural products for various applications, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food supplements. The project aims to equip students with specialized skills and competencies in natural product chemistry, addressing the growing demand for professionals in this field.
The three-day agenda was packed with activities and productive discussions. On Wednesday, participants were warmly welcomed and had the chance to tour the IQS School of Engineering facilities, setting the stage for fruitful exchanges. They then dove into meetings, tackling a variety of topics related to the BioNatural program.
